Disambiguation
[edit]Does the 'George Clinton' referred to as producing an album for Music of Life refer to George Clinton (funk musician)? If so, then a disambiguation is required. Thanks. --Worm 22:43, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- That's irrelevant. Please comment on the correct article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.24.31 (talk) 02:49, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Actual Disambiguation
[edit]I propose moving this to Simon Harris (DJ) and will do so unless objections are heard.
There are numerous noteables of this name. Stubs will be created.
Copyright violation

Sir, there is no copyright violation, I am Simon Harris, the owner of harrismix.com and also the contributor of the majority of the information which I have been adding to my Simon Harris Wikipedia article over the years - the information was true and accurate and written autobiographically by me, the article is about me and written by me, is completely accurate and now it has been removed and replaced with a much shorter article with many inaccuracies. I would appreciate it if you could please re-instate the page to the highly detailed version that was there before. I am no expert with wikipedia so I am sorry if it appeared like there was some kind of copyright violation but I can assure you there was not. I am Simon Harris and happy to provide verifiable identification that harrismix.com is my website and also I am the wikipedia user: megalaser who has been contributing to my wikipedia page for many years.Megalaser (talk) 00:14, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- I was curious about wiki's mention about how this page was an advertisement but now it makes more sense. This entire page needs to be rewritten so it has a neutral viewpoint and not looking like it's your personal CV for your career. The major problem with wiki pages (and this website as a whole) are pages written by the people they're about and using this website as a promotional/advertising/CV dump. history is rewritten, things are omitted, etc.etc. This is why it's a terrible idea for people to edit their own pages, and worse than that is to proclaim in public that they are editing their own pages. 59.102.90.59 (talk) 23:03, 18 July 2023 (UTC)

Violation of Wikipedia policies - Autobiographical
[edit]"Writing an autobiography on Wikipedia is an example of conflict-of-interest editing and is strongly discouraged. Editing a biography about yourself is acceptable only if you are removing unambiguous vandalism or clear-cut and serious violations of our biography of living persons policy."
This wiki page has been only written by one person and that person is Simon Harris. He admits to it in this talk section without any shame. There are no citations for most of this shameless self promotion that's written like a resumé. This page needs to be deleted or rewritten by someone that isn't Simon. He should be banned from making any further edits to this page. 203.214.158.14 (talk) 23:22, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
